About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer to join our team in Raleigh, NC. As a key member of our Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural (MEPS) Group, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and training/mentoring to our team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and quality oversight of all project work involving Plumbing/Fire Protection engineering.
  • Develop and deliver technical training and development programs for staff.
  • Assist in establishing and improving standards, practices, guidelines, and specifications for the electrical discipline area.
  • Act as Engineer of Record and provide 'on-the-spot' advice and decisions on technical and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with all disciplines involved, including outside consultants, and provide technical interface with code officials and contractors.
Requirements
  • Accomplished professional engineer (PE) with existing licensure in NC preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in technical oversight of multiple projects with proven success providing technical oversight on projects that meet contract specifications and technical standards to the client on time and within budget.
  • Self-motivated with highly developed verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-organized with good note-taking skills.
