Role Summary

We are in search of a dedicated Facility Maintenance Associate to join our maintenance team at a vibrant community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing offices, common areas, and parking facilities.
  • Conduct daily trash removal from office spaces and community perimeters, ensuring cleanliness.
  • Assist in preparing vacant units for new occupants, including thorough cleaning and trash removal.
  • Support the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager with assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
  • Participate in cleaning available apartments and model units.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, carpentry, and electrical issues.
  • Report maintenance concerns regarding available apartments, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Help manage emergency situations such as severe weather, fires, and floods.
  • Contribute to the organization and cleanliness of work areas and maintenance facilities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; prior experience is preferred.
  • Basic skills in carpentry, drywall repair, and painting are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with computers is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to teamwork.
  • Must be fully vaccinated and able to provide documentation or request accommodations.

Working Conditions

  • This is a full-time position that may require after-hours and weekend availability, including a rotating on-call schedule.
  • Work will be conducted both indoors and outdoors.
  • Physical demands include mobility to fulfill job requirements effectively.
