Job SummaryThis role involves performing various diagnostic procedures using radiographic equipment to obtain optimal imaging and patient care. As a Travel Radiology Specialist, you will be responsible for selecting the appropriate technical factors, safety devices, and operating all imaging equipment as directed.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform and assist in general diagnostic procedures to produce optimal imaging with diagnostic quality.
- Follow standards for routine diagnostic exams, positioning, patient care, and documentation.
- Select the appropriate technical factors, safety devices, and operate all imaging equipment as directed.
- Orient and train Radiology students and new employees.
- Maintain constant attention to patient assignments.
- Identify, process, transfer, and archive all patient exams.
- Maintain all records in accordance with hospital and regulatory policy.
