Job Summary

This role involves performing various diagnostic procedures using radiographic equipment to obtain optimal imaging and patient care. As a Travel Radiology Specialist, you will be responsible for selecting the appropriate technical factors, safety devices, and operating all imaging equipment as directed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and assist in general diagnostic procedures to produce optimal imaging with diagnostic quality.
  • Follow standards for routine diagnostic exams, positioning, patient care, and documentation.
  • Select the appropriate technical factors, safety devices, and operate all imaging equipment as directed.
  • Orient and train Radiology students and new employees.
  • Maintain constant attention to patient assignments.
  • Identify, process, transfer, and archive all patient exams.
  • Maintain all records in accordance with hospital and regulatory policy.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A High School Diploma or Technical Diploma from a Radiology Program.
  • Certification as a Radiology Technologist (RT) from the American Registry for Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification issued through an organization that requires a hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification.
