Key Responsibilities- Independently manage and coordinate maintenance and repair activities, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Facility Operations to prioritize and schedule work requests, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting tasks.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of repair processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with university policies and regulations.
- Log and manage work orders through designated systems, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of maintenance activities.
- Communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders regarding special events and maintenance needs.
- Serve as a liaison between Campus Recreation and Facilities Management, ensuring seamless coordination of maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with supervisors to develop plans and budgets for special projects and renovations, ensuring alignment with university goals and objectives.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years of experience in related fields, such as facility maintenance, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with some early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed.
