Job Title: Transportation Trainee

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Transportation Trainee to join our team at Rumpke of Kentucky, Inc. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the transportation industry while working alongside experienced drivers.

As a Transportation Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting drivers with daily routes, learning about waste management practices, and developing essential skills for a career in the field.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist drivers with daily routes, including collecting and hauling waste or recyclables
  • Learn about waste management practices, including safety protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Develop essential skills for a career in the transportation industry, such as operating heavy equipment and maintaining vehicles
Requirements:
  • Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card within 10 days of employment
  • Must obtain class B CDL permit within 60 days of employment
  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • Must not have any DUI's or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years
