Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Healthcare Applications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Information Services department, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting the application and data integration managed by our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and support the application and data integration managed by Information Services (IS)
- Provide application and technical support for the product line, including triage and troubleshooting for product clients
- Monitor systems for data quality, efficiency, operation, and data integrity, escalating issues and problems as needed
- Provide system analysis, design, development, documentation, and configuration, as well as testing and training of the product
- Ensure that applications are optimally planned, documented, validated, adhere to standards, and maintained
Requirements:
- Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 1 year recent relevant experience
- Working knowledge of data and application development lifecycle methodologies
- Proficient knowledge of healthcare operations and structure
- Proficient knowledge of Health Level 7 (HL7) and Extensible Markup Language (XML) messaging standards and structure
- Intermediate understanding of downstream applications and core systems integration
- Ability to set priorities and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner
- Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups
Working Conditions:
