Job Title: Overnight Nurse

First City Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN/RN to join our team as an Overnight Nurse. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to individuals struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver client-centered care under the supervision of the Medical Director, Charge Nurse, and Program Director.
  • Work collaboratively with a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) and a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Complete necessary documentation within 24 hours of patient admission, including Admission Note, Nursing Assessment, Pre-Screen Testing, HRS Consent Form, Patient Health Examination, and Criteria for Admission Form (if Detox admit).
  • Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, perform various tasks, including ensuring patient confidentiality, maintaining therapeutic rapport, and staying up-to-date with training in CPR, First Aid, Crisis Intervention, Infection Control, Fire Safety, and other mandated areas.
  • Communicate effectively with other staff members and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.
Requirements:
  • Licensed to practice nursing in the appropriate state and maintaining current licensure per state requirements.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Detoxification experience preferred.
  • Background check and TB test administration and reading certification.
