The speech-language pathologist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing patient evaluations
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans
  • Delivering treatment services
  • Coordinating comprehensive discharge planning

Requirements include a Master's or Doctorate of Speech-Language Pathology degree and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY-SLP) certification.
