Warehouse Specialist

About the Job:

Penske Logistics is seeking a skilled Warehouse Worker to join their team in Wilmer, TX. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are safety-conscious and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and scrubbers
• Perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming surfaces
• Empty trash bins and clean the trash area daily
• Complete daily sanitation logs
• Utilize chemicals, detergents, and cleaning equipment
• Able to identify and address cleanliness and sanitation issues
• Comply with all safety requirements
• Escalate issues timely and directly to supervisor
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system

Qualifications:

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required

Salary Estimate: Based on industry standards, we estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $34,000 - $40,000 depending on experience and location.
