We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Aide to join our team at Westminster Canterbury Richmond. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

About the Role:

This Certified Nurse Aide will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our residents, including administering medications, assisting with daily living activities, and documenting resident information accurately. The successful candidate will also be required to work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and maintain accurate records
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity
  • Document care provided and maintain accurate resident records
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
  • Support the Individualized Service Plan and communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff
  • Transport residents to appointments and activities safely and efficiently
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current CNA certification in Virginia
  • Registered Medication Aide in Virginia

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One-year experience administering medications in assisted living
  • Experience working with geriatric or cognitively impaired residents
  • Dementia training and CPR certification
