Job Title: Housekeeper FT @ Avamere Wenatchee

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Avamere Wenatchee. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Order and monitor all supplies to ensure a well-stocked inventory
  • Clean and sanitize sinks, showers, toilets, and other fixtures to maintain a high level of hygiene
  • Stock soap and paper products in bathrooms to ensure a comfortable experience for residents
  • Clean and dust surfaces, including glass and mirrors, to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
  • Vacuum carpet and sweep and mop floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Deep clean resident apartments and care areas to ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization
  • Sort, wash, and dry resident laundry according to building policy
  • Fold, hang, and put away resident laundry according to guidelines
  • Clean all equipment and maintain soiled and clean linen areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Assist with housekeeping duties as needed to ensure a smooth operation
  • Maintain infection control procedures to prevent the spread of illness
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Must have experience interacting with residents in a similar capacity
