Transportation Coordinator

Element Care is seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting participants around the community and to medical appointments.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm, with no nights, weekends, or holidays. You will be required to float to all of our centers in MA, including locations in Lynn, Beverly, Gloucester, Methuen, Lowell, and Brighton.
Key Responsibilities- Transport participants to and from medical appointments and other outside activities as needed.
- Assist participants to and from the van for pickups and drop-offs.
- Maintain the interior and exterior of the vehicle to ensure safe transportation.
- Notify the Director of any incidents, client injuries, or accidents.
- Work with the Supervisor of Drivers to identify participant needs.
- Remove snow around the vans during winter months to ensure client safety.
- Assist Day Care Center Staff with local activities and duties as needed.
- Ability to pass a fit test and wear a face mask where a seal is critical.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Valid state driver's license.
- Minimum 5 years of safe driving experience.
- Must be able to pass a DOT Physical and driver training.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Able to physically move and maneuver participants in a wheelchair.
