About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Belleville, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance mechanical systems for various buildings, including healthcare, commercial, industrial, and educational facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate construction drawings, specifications, and code research for HVAC, plumbing, controls, and specialty piping systems.
  • Perform construction administration, including submittal reviews and project revisions during construction.
  • Develop preliminary schematics through final designs for projects, including calculations, equipment selection, and layouts.
  • Assume responsibility for code research and application, as well as interface with other disciplines, clients, and contractors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in HVAC and plumbing design for buildings.
  • A Professional Engineering License (PE) is required.
  • Prior management or mentoring of staff required.
  • Strong familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
