The University of Arkansas System is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Research Nurse to join our team. As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will play a critical role in the coordination of clinical trials, ensuring the smooth execution of research studies and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate recruitment, screening, consenting, enrollment, treatment/observation, data collection, and follow-up of subjects enrolled in clinical trials.
- Ensure completion of required study procedures on schedule and without deviations.
- Advise the Principal Investigator and study staff on study procedures related to clinical flow and standard operating procedures.
- Facilitate effective communication among staff, Principal Investigators, research/clinical professionals, senior leaders of the University of Arkansas System, and study sponsors.
- Assist with development, implementation, and maintenance of study-related SOPs when necessary.
- Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements, including the reporting of serious adverse events in the timeline required by the study sponsor and Institutional Review Board.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Current Arkansas RN license.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Three (3) years of nursing and/or clinical research experience.
- CRS certification within two (2) years of hire.
This position requires occasional weekend and after-hours work depending on study requirements.
