Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with complex medical needs, including those with pulmonary HTN, respiratory failure, COPD, CHF, and A-Fib.
  • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and record and interpret electronic displays.
  • Interpret and understand telemetry readings, notifying appropriate medical team members of any irregularities.
  • Perform the duties required of a registered nurse at all times, including starting IV's, drawing blood, and caring for patients from start to finish.
Requirements
  • Active RN License
  • Degree from accredited nursing program
  • BLS & ACLS Certifications
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Long Term Acute Care setting
  • Experience with Vents, Trachs, Drips, EG Tubes and able to read Tele-strips
