We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill patients with complex medical conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a critical care step-down level, including cardiac, vascular, and procedural patients with complex lines, drains, and airways.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate using computerized documentation systems.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to create and implement a care plan that meets each patient's unique needs.
- Instruct and educate patients and family members on their care and treatment.
- Coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) License in NH or valid Compact State License.
- BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross).
- Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia within 3 months from hire.
- PCCN, TNCC, and TCAR certifications preferred.
