SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is $90,000 per year, based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have one to three years of experience in radiology technology and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In this role, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide patient care and administer medications as ordered. You will also be responsible for monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes.
This is a 13-week assignment, working 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift schedule. You will be required to maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies, as well as transport patients as needed.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- One to three years of experience in radiology technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to grasp, fine manipulate, push/pull and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Mental requirements: able to cope with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure
