Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Porter/Custodian to ensure the cleanliness of our studios. The goal is to keep all buildings clean, in orderly condition, and sanitized for not only our visitors but for our staff as well.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness of designated buildings, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, and restrooms.
  • Ensure restrooms are clean and thoroughly disinfected, including floors, walls, fixtures, mirrors, and toilets.
  • Stock restrooms with sanitary products, clean storage areas, and carts with needed supplies.
  • Pick up trash on the property and in common areas, including driveways, parking lots, curbs, trash receptacles areas, exterior hallways, sets, break rooms, and any other public areas.
  • Arrange furniture and equipment for special events or meetings, ensuring all is returned to its original location.
  • Hang up items using hand tools.
  • Utilize power blowers and pressure washers to clean breezeways, steps, sidewalks, and any other common areas.
  • Perform other tasks as may be required by the job and/or assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • One year of experience as a janitor, housekeeper, or similar cleaning role.
  • Experience using hand tools.
  • Knowledge of various cleaning equipment and best practices.
  • Ability to follow all safety and personnel rules, policies, and regulations.
  • Ability to lift items up to 20 lbs., carrying, bending, and pulling.
  • Strong attention to detail with clear communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and independent decision-making.
