Job Summary

PPi Technologies Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Batching Crew Leader to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our batching activities, meeting safety, quality, and production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, stage, weigh, and mix ingredients according to production recipes.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance/Control technician on analytical results and make modifications or adjustments to batches as needed.
  • Pre-weigh, blend, and liquify components for beverage preparation.
  • Accurately document lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates on formulas.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitation of batching equipment and fillers.
  • Follow all Company Quality policies, SQF standards, and SOPs.
  • Support the SQF System by empowering and encouraging production employees to do the right things and report events that could impact food safety.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's degree in business, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in food-related manufacturing/production preferred.
  • Prior training in Food Safety, GMPs, GLP, or HACCP.
  • Previous team/crew leader experience in a manufacturing/production setting.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and work independently.
  • Experience with Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
  • Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to tolerate a variety of environments both inside and outside in hot or cold temperatures and varying noise levels.
  • Must wear various personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly during the workday as needed.
