Nutrition Therapist

Job Description:

This is a part-time position requiring 2-3 days of work per week, with some hybrid work available. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy, including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for patients. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized nutrition plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records, training and mentoring patient services staff, and participating in quality assurance initiatives.

Requirements:

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, in states where required
• One year of hospital experience preferred
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
