We are seeking a skilled Pulmonologist to join our team at Ascension Via Christi. As a Pulmonologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with respiratory disorders, coordinating discharge planning, and participating in academic programs. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and advancing medical knowledge.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with respiratory disorders, including asthma, COPD, and pneumonia.
- Coordinate discharge planning with case management to ensure smooth transitions of care.
- Participate in academic programs, including medical education and research, to advance medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and guidelines to provide evidence-based care.
- Board certification in Pulmonology or Board eligibility.
- Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Kansas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
