Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and guidance to the Perioperative team, ensuring that all staff members are working together to achieve our department's goals and objectives.
- Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring that all patients receive safe and effective care.
- Staff Development: Mentor and develop our nursing staff, providing training and education to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional patient care.
- Operational Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Perioperative department, ensuring that all procedures are followed and that our department is running efficiently.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including Anesthesia, Surgery, and Nursing, to ensure that our patients receive seamless care.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Perioperative Charge Nurse or Relief Charge Nurse.
- Certifications: Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing, Current CPR, Current ACLS, Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR).
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
