Position Summary:
The Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and managing incoming communications with professionalism and warmth. This position is responsible for maintaining an organized and inviting reception area, addressing customer inquiries, and offering administrative support as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization, its services, clientele, and staff.
- Handle incoming calls with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring proper telephone etiquette is followed.
- Take detailed messages when necessary and ensure timely communication of messages to the appropriate individuals.
- Welcome all visitors and staff with a friendly and accommodating attitude.
- Keep the reception area tidy, organized, and welcoming.
- Provide refreshments to guests to enhance their comfort during their visit.
- Assist with various facility services as directed by the supervisor.
- Manage daily mail and banking tasks as required.

Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred.
- Previous experience as a receptionist is advantageous.
- Must comply with all healthcare regulations, including necessary health screenings.
- Must maintain good standing with all relevant healthcare agencies.

The physical demands outlined here represent the essential functions of this role. The position primarily involves sedentary work, with occasional movement throughout the day. The individual must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and may need to lift, carry, push, or pull objects as necessary.
