We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper to join our team at Ross Downing Chevrolet, Inc. in Hammond, LA.
The Senior Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing bank reconciliations, and preparing financial reports. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
The estimated salary for this position is $55,000-$70,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the Position- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare financial reports, including budgets and financial forecasts.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of audits.
- Monitor and reconcile vehicle and parts inventory accounts.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in the automotive industry or a dealership setting. Proficiency in accounting software and dealership management systems is required.
