Job Summary:
Pace University is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach in the Sands College of Performing Arts. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching assigned courses in one or more of the following programs:
- BFA Acting
- Commercial Dance
- Acting for Film, Television, Voice-overs and Commercials
- Musical Theater
- Performing Arts General Education
- International Performance Ensemble (Acting/Directing)
- Production Design
- Stage Management & Music
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and deliver lessons to students
- Provide feedback to students to promote academic success
Requirements:
- MFA preferred; faculty rank will be determined by academic qualifications
- Prior teaching experience at the higher education level preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Availability to teach Fundamentals of Music courses
- Availability to teach on Monday mornings, Tuesday afternoons, and Wednesday mornings
