We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Hydrogeologist to join our team in Woodinville, WA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in water rights and regulatory compliance, with a strong understanding of hydrogeology.
The selected candidate will play a critical role in managing water rights-related projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal permits and regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting hydrogeological investigations and assessments
- Providing expertise in water rights and regulatory compliance
- Collaborating with project managers and clients to develop water resource management strategies
- Preparing reports, permit applications, and regulatory documentation
- Performing data analysis and modeling related to water resources
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in geological sciences or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in hydrogeology in support of water rights projects
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal water rights regulations
- Strong analytical, modeling, and data interpretation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The following qualifications would be advantageous:
- Licensed Geologist (LG) or Licensed Hydrogeologist (LHG) in Washington State
- Project management experience
- Experience working on a variety of hydrogeology and water rights-related projects
