Sleep Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Sleep Technologist to join our team at the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters. As a Sleep Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting overnight sleep tests and analyzing polysomnographic data. This is a full-time position working evenings and nights.
Responsibilities- Conduct overnight sleep tests under the guidance of a registered sleep technologist.
- Analyze polysomnographic data to identify patterns and trends.
- Develop skills in collecting and analyzing patient information to meet specific needs.
- Provide age-specific patient/family education on sleep disorders and treatment options.
- Maintain accountability and responsibility for the performance and quality of all modalities of Polysomnographic procedures per the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) guidelines and departmental policies, procedures, and regulations for all age groups and patient populations (hospitalized and ambulatory).
This position requires a minimum salary of $55,000 based on industry standards and market research in the Hampton Roads area.
The ideal candidate will have completed or be actively enrolled in a polysomnography educational program. Registry eligibility in polysomnography is preferred. The candidate must also possess strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in multiple locations, and willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and rotating shifts.
