Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate can expect a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
Job DescriptionSoliant is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language therapy services to students in our Camden, WV school district. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping students improve their communication skills and succeed academically.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments
Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
Develop and Implement Therapy PlansDesign and implement therapy plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals, with a focus on achieving successful outcomes for students.
Provide Direct Therapy ServicesProvide direct speech and language therapy services to students with a range of communication disorders, including stuttering, apraxia, and autism.
Collaborate with Teachers and ParentsWork closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication development and ensure a collaborative approach to their education.
Monitor Progress and Adjust Therapy PlansRegularly monitor students' progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans to ensure successful outcomes and continued growth.
Participate in IEP MeetingsParticipate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to the development of educational plans for students requiring speech and language services.
Qualifications- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid West Virginia State LicensureBe a West Virginia state-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical CompetencePossess a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be a Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidate.
Experience in a School SettingPrior experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
Strong Knowledge of Pediatric Speech and Language DisordersHave a strong understanding of pediatric speech and language disorders, including stuttering, apraxia, and autism.
Excellent Communication and Organizational SkillsExhibit excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills to ensure successful collaboration with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
