Job Title: Class A CDL Truck Driver

We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to join Crosslin Building Supply Inc.'s team. As a family-owned company, we value our employees and offer a full-time position with benefits after 60 days of successful employment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate company vehicles in a professional, safe, and courteous manner.
  • Organize and secure cargo, ensuring each load is properly strapped for transportation.
  • Drive a delivery truck on a predetermined route and schedule, delivering items as instructed.
  • Maintain a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Abide by traffic laws, ensuring safe unloading and delivery to the destination.
  • Ensure delivery trucks are clean and in good working condition, performing daily required maintenance checks and reporting any malfunctions to the supervisor.
Requirements / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Hold a valid Class A CDL, current medical certification card, and possess a clean driving record along with personal insurance.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Able to work independently and lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Other Skills & Experience:
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience.
  • Ability to communicate and engage with people from various cultures and backgrounds.
  • Interact with customers and fellow employees in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment: forklifts and truck-mounted Moffett forklifts.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to sit or stand for lengthy periods of time, and lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to reach over-head to grasp materials, bend, stoop, or squat to the floor on a regular basis.
  • Perform duties in all weather conditions.
Attendance:

Good attendance is required. Normal Monday – Friday schedules with available overtime.
