Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Armed Vault Custodian to join our team at Loomis US. As an Armed Vault Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of our cash vaults.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You will be working closely with your team to ensure the smooth operation of our vaults.

Responsibilities
  • Cash Handling: Count and record cash transactions, verify identifying numbers and seals on bags of deposits and change shipments, and prepare receipts and manifests.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, perform regular audits, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Security Measures: Ensure the security of our vaults by monitoring CCTV cameras, responding to alarms, and following established protocols.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with your team to resolve issues, share knowledge, and improve processes.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and walk continuously between bins, vaults, and counters.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to read and speak English fluently.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using computer software, handling cash management systems, and operating security equipment.

Working Conditions

You will be working in a secure environment with minimal exposure to outside light. You must be comfortable working in a room within a vault with limited natural light.
