Job Summary:

The Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking a highly qualified Academic Clinician to join our team. We are looking for a candidate with expertise in Hematologic malignancies, specifically lymphoma, and a strong interest in cancer research. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to pursue clinical research in their area of interest and lead a dedicated disease-specific research staff.

This is an opportunity for a Clinician Teacher (CT) or Clinical Health Sciences (CHS) track position, for prospects seeking an Associate Professor or Assistant Professor position. The candidate will participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient clinic attending services at UW Hospitals and Clinics locations in Madison and at additional sites within the region.
  • Provide clinical teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as clinical research endeavors.

The successful candidate will have access to many shared resources and opportunities to collaborate with basic, translational and clinical researchers at the NCI-designated UW Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC), the VA Hospital and throughout the UW-Madison campus.

Qualifications:
  • Completed accredited hematology or hematology/medical oncology fellowship training.
  • Experience in clinical, basic science or translational research, with a track record of successful publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, and evidence of excellence in teaching.
