Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough physical exams, diagnose illnesses, and develop effective treatment plans
- Provide preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care services
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as labs and imaging
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient visits and care plans in the EMR system
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Active North Carolina PA license or ability to obtain one
- 2+ years of clinical experience in family practice or a related field preferred
- BLS/ACLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
