Job Description

At The Boldt Company, we are seeking a skilled Estimator III to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and detailed estimates for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze project documents, including drawings, specifications, and owner documents, to establish the scope of work and estimate costs.
  • Prepare and present detailed estimates, including conceptual estimates, to project owners and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate and timely estimates.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other industry partners to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our estimates are accurate and compliant with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in estimating, with a strong background in construction and project management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in estimating software, including WinEst, On-Center, and Microsoft Project.
