Job Summary:
Allina Health is a not-for-profit health system that cares for individuals, families and communities throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin. We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our healthcare team, serving patients across a variety of settings within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care to patients in all medical, surgical, oncology, and specialty care units, including Cardiac/Telemetry, Adult Mental Health, Geriatric Mental Health, Chemical Dependency, and the Intensive Care Unit and the Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in patient care.
- Contribute to a supportive team environment that prioritizes patient-centered care and excellence in service.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Vocational degree in Nursing.
- At least one year of med/surg/tele experience in an acute care setting (Tier 1), six months of med/surg experience in an acute care setting (Tier 2), or consideration for transitional care unit experience, long term care experience, and new RN Graduate (Tier 3).
- Licensed Registered Nurse – MN Board of Nursing required if working in state of MN upon hire.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire).
- Additional certifications may be needed at certain sites, such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS), and Pediatric Emergency Assessment & Stabilization (PEARS).
