Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

  • Oversee CI and CD tools and processes across different business units.
  • Promote automation throughout all phases of software development, deployment, operations, and maintenance.
  • Engage in discussions with diverse teams to generate new ideas and enhance development delivery.
  • Investigate open-source technologies to address automation challenges.
  • Offer technical expertise and train Development teams on CI/CD, automation tools, and methodologies.
  • Manage the DevOps responsibilities for the APIGEE platform.
  • Support and improve existing tools, platforms, and processes, including Kubernetes, Rancher, Docker, and Bash scripting.

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 8-10 years of experience in the IT field.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices, including GitLab CI, Jenkins, and Helm.
  • Familiarity with software development frameworks and languages like Spring, Java, Go, PHP, and Python.
  • Experience with Linux operating systems and Bash scripting.
  • Practical knowledge of AWS services.
  • Experience with infrastructure and configuration management tools, including Terraform, Ansible, or Cloudinit.
  • Highly motivated, diligent, and hardworking.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication across all management levels.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Solid software development skills, strong analytical capabilities, and effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $110,100.00 - $140,000.00 per year.

The base salary range provided is a guideline. Individual total compensation may vary based on qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is influenced by the role's location and may change based on work location.
