Job Summary

U.S. Farathane is seeking an experienced Die Setter to join our manufacturing team. As a Die Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining die-related equipment, ensuring efficient production processes and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and maintain die-related equipment, including primary and secondary equipment
  • Perform mold changes according to production schedules and emergency mold changes
  • Repair fluid and air leaks related to the die
  • Perform die insert changes and pull and reset die halves for repair
  • Load and unload die-carrying trucks and maintain die storage areas
  • Order and manage die-setting supplies
  • Initial shooting of die sets where applicable
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed and submitted in a timely manner
  • Follow all OSHA and safety rules and regulations
  • Follow all U.S. Farathane policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods, lift up to 35lbs, and perform frequent reaching and bending
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
