Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the operational maintenance and repair of hotel equipment.
  • Replace light bulbs and conduct preventative maintenance tasks in guest rooms, including vinyl repairs, touch-up painting, minor furniture repairs, and caulking of tubs and tiles.
  • Perform routine maintenance on ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen appliances, laundry equipment, HVAC systems, guest rooms, meeting spaces, and recreational facilities such as pools and hot tubs.
  • Conduct plumbing repairs, maintain laundry equipment, and perform preventative maintenance on exhaust fans while monitoring energy efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to alarms to assess the situation, determine emergency status, and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the hospitality industry or a related field is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Licensure in a trade such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or carpentry is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license for the applicable state is necessary.
  • An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is required, specific to property needs.
