Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team as a Mechanic Level 6. As a key member of our mobile maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance on heavy equipment, diagnosing and repairing complex issues, and mentoring junior technicians.

• Perform scheduled maintenance on heavy equipment, including routine inspections and repairs
• Diagnose and repair complex issues with heavy equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems
• Mentor junior technicians and provide guidance on maintenance and repair procedures
• Assist the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor in coordinating work and providing updates on work progress
• Work with expeditors to ensure accurate and timely ordering of parts
• Maintain positive communication with maintenance and operations departments
• Ensure a clean, orderly, and safe work environment at all times

• 10+ years' experience in lubrication/maintenance of mobile construction and mining equipment
• 2-3 years' team leader experience
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics and electrical theory
• Ability to perform electrical, hydraulic, and engine troubleshooting
• Ability to perform major component tear-downs and failure analysis
• Must have own tools and toolbox, up to and including 3/4 drive impact set
• Proficient with maintenance programs (e.g., Manager Plus)
• Willing and able to do shift work as needed
• Able to climb and lift 50 pounds
• Able to operate 26,000-pound lube/service truck
