Qualifications:
  • Must possess a valid and active state license as a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Rehabilitation Therapist in assessing patients, collecting medical histories, and setting rehabilitation objectives.
  • Implement prescribed treatment plans and exercises to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall physical condition.
  • Utilize therapeutic modalities and equipment to facilitate patient recovery.
  • Guide patients through exercise routines and techniques aimed at enhancing physical capabilities.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding exercise and recovery programs.
  • Maintain detailed patient documentation, recording treatments and progress effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with the Rehabilitation Therapist and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Follow safety and infection control guidelines to maintain a secure therapy environment.
  • Offer emotional support and motivation to patients as they pursue their rehabilitation goals.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
