Responsibilities:
- Analyze and address Volcker-related discrepancies by collaborating with trading teams, legal departments, finance, and risk management.
- Assist in the production, review, and dissemination of metrics for internal use and regulatory compliance.
- Provide consistent updates and status reports to management.
- Engage in monthly evaluations of Volcker metrics and reporting with relevant desks.
- Coordinate the regulatory narrative process, ensuring commentary is drafted, revised, and reviewed by senior management.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of pertinent experience in a front office or operational support role, or in a consulting or project management position with similar responsibilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial market products across various asset classes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact comfortably with senior stakeholders across trading desks, product control, legal, and technology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proactive approach with the ability to manage tight deadlines across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of the Volcker Rule.
- Commitment to meeting monthly and quarterly deadlines for specific tasks.
