Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you'll deliver care to patients using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. You'll collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Essential Job Functions- Assess patients and document pertinent information, completing physical and mental health assessments.
- Perform medication administration as per facility protocol, accurately recording all medication as administered.
- Assess, document, and report behavioral and medical changes.
- Participate in patient treatment planning as part of the multi-disciplinary clinical team.
- Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment, and medications.
- Use verbal de-escalation and therapeutic interventions to de-escalate patients that are potentially dangerous.
- Describe and demonstrate thorough knowledge of seclusion and restraint standards and guidelines, including documentation of seclusion and restraint incidents, as required.
- Describe and demonstrate thorough knowledge of SafeClinch standards and guidelines, as required.
- Record all care provided concisely, accurately, and completely, in a timely manner, as per the facility protocol.
- Draw labs and provide wound care as ordered.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Graduated from an accredited Nursing program with Registered Professional Nurse licensure by the state Board of Nursing.
- Unrestricted license as Registered Professional Nurse through the state Board of Nursing.
- At least 1 year of psychiatric, behavioral health, or relevant experience.
- Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card, or ability to obtain upon hire.
