Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Athletic Trainer to join our team at Hospital Sisters Health System. As an Industrial Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs designed to promote employee health and wellness, improve productivity, and reduce healthcare costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement worksite health and wellness programs to promote employee health and productivity
  • Conduct ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for improving workstations and reducing injury risk
  • Design and implement exercise programs to improve employee fitness and reduce injury risk
  • Provide medical care and treatment to employees as needed
  • Collaborate with management and employees to identify and address workplace health and safety concerns
  • Develop and implement return-to-work programs to help employees recover from injuries and illnesses
  • Conduct job hazard analyses and provide recommendations for improving workplace safety
  • Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on workplace health and safety procedures
Requirements
  • Graduate degree from an accredited program in athletic training or a related field
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Licensed Athletic Trainer
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion within the first 90 days of employment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
