Certified Radiology Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at AMN Healthcare. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of mammographic procedures while providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform mammographic procedures using independent judgment to provide quality patient care.
- Operate various radiographic and support equipment, including mammographic, ultrasound, and stereotactic breast biopsy machines.
- Protect patients from undue exposure to radiation by using lead shields and safety factors.
- Assist radiologists in performing fluoroscopic procedures by setting proper technique factors and preparing opaque media.
- Maintain quality control and quality assurance in accordance with MQSA programs and ACR, FDA, and TDH standards.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology, with 1 year of experience in Mammography preferred.
- Registered by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography and Mammography.
- Current state licensure and BLS certification required.
