About the Position

Gateway Community Health Center is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring seamless transitions between treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver primary care services to patients, including routine check-ups, diagnostic testing, and treatment plans.
  2. Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account patient history, medical conditions, and personal preferences.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, adhering to established protocols and regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Current licensure to practice in the State of Texas from the Board of Nurse Examiners.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a registered nurse before APN certification.
  • Certified by either the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
