We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Assembly Technician to join our team at Wise Staffing. This role involves setting up and operating various types of machinery to produce high-quality metallic components.
Key Responsibilities- Operate conventional, specialized, and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to fabricate parts.
- Assemble machined components into complete units, utilizing knowledge of machining processes and techniques.
- Demonstrate technical proficiency in the machining field.
- Proactively identify and address operational needs and challenges.
- Interpret blueprints and sketches, and follow verbal instructions accurately.
- Assist in the procurement, receipt, and storage of materials and supplies.
- Communicate upcoming work requirements effectively to prevent production delays.
Maintain detailed dimensional logs for all operations performed on machinery.
QualificationsEducation and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- At least one year of technical schooling or five years of relevant machining experience.
- Completion of a four-year apprenticeship program in machining is preferred.
Skills:
- Ability to read and write basic mathematics, including fractions, decimals, and trigonometry.
- Proficient in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Capable of interpreting complex technical drawings.
- Experience operating overhead and jib cranes.
- Adept at following various types of instructions, whether written, verbal, or diagrammatic.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
