Production Line Supervisor - Machining

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Line Supervisor to oversee our machining operations on the night shift. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing and training hourly employees to produce high-quality products in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directly supervise hourly employees and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Provide training and coaching to employees as needed, including new machine and tooling operations.
  • Coordinate maintenance repairs and ensure equipment is running at optimal levels.
  • Collect and analyze data to optimize production efficiency and quality.
  • Communicate with production control and tool engineering to ensure timely delivery of materials and prints.
  • Collaborate with facilities engineering, tool engineering, and manufacturing engineering to implement cost reductions and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with quality requirements and safety protocols.
  • Promote employee involvement in safety and cost reduction efforts.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of machining experience.
  • Journeyman Machinist Card or 3+ years of technical training.
  • College-level courses in machining.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
