Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Forensic Clinician to join our team at Alura Workforce Solutions. As a Forensic Clinician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality clinical services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Mental Status Examinations: Utilize current diagnostic manuals to assess clients' mental health status.
  • Provide Individual and Group Therapy: Offer evidence-based treatment to clients with various psychopathologies.
  • Participate in Multi-Disciplinary Treatment Teams: Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Document Client Progress: Accurately record clients' behaviors and treatment sessions.
  • Crisis Intervention: Assess and de-escalate aggressive/assaultive behavior in clients.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effectively communicate with clients, visitors, police, and community members.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiently use electronic records programs and other company software.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's (MFT, PCC, MSW) or Doctorate in Psychology (PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.
  • License-Eligible/Licensed Clinician: Eligible for licensure with the California Board of Psychology/California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
  • Background Clearance: Pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and Community Care Licensing (CCL) background clearance.
  • Valid California Driver's License: Possess a valid California driver's license.
  • Additional Requirements: TB clearance, driving record acceptable for coverage by organization insurance carrier, Fire and Safety Training, First Aid Training Certification, CPR Certification, and Crisis Prevention Institute Training (CPI).
Compensation

$28.85/hr - $30.31/hr (non-bilingual)
$29.85/hr - $31.31/hr (bilingual Spanish)
Additional DMH compensation, up to $1,250/month
