Mercy is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neuro Trauma ICU Nurse to join our team. As a critical care nurse in our Trauma and Neuro ICU, you will provide exceptional patient care to those with complex traumatic injuries, medical diagnoses, and neurologic and neuro-surgical emergencies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients with complex medical and surgical conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of autonomy and accountability
