Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Merrillville, IN. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with students in a school-based setting, providing speech and language therapy to those with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Speech and Language Therapy: Work with students to develop and implement individualized speech and language plans to address communication disorders.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed records of student progress, including service records and written reports.
  • Evaluate and Assess Students: Evaluate students with suspected communication disorders, making recommendations for speech and language services as needed.
  • Develop Individualized Education Programs: Collaborate with educators to develop speech and language goals for students with communication disorders.
  • Consult with School Staff and Parents: Work with school staff and parents to develop strategies to support speech and language development.
  • Participate in Medicaid Billing Process: Assist with the Medicaid billing process for school-based services.
Requirements
  • Indiana SLP License: Possess a valid Indiana Speech-Language Pathology license.
  • Indiana Department of Education Certification: Hold certification from the Indiana Department of Education for Speech Pathologists.
