Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for documenting and reporting on fleetwide counts of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE). This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct asset validations of all Information Systems (IS) GFE onboard MSC ships and ashore facilities
- Provide updates to central asset tracking database
- Provide updates via feedback reports to the Corrective Maintenance Logistics System (CMLS)
- Identify, document, and report discrepancies
- Must be able to travel up to 60% per year
- The ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and bend, kneel, crouch or crawl during inventory validations
- Proficiency with basic computer programs, specifically MS Word and Excel
- Keen attention to detail
- Reliable transportation
- Experience using inventory management databases for GFE tracking is a plus
